Carmelo è uno degli chef più talentuosi e creativi che abbia mai conosciuto. La sua curiosità, insieme alla sua costante ricerca e alla sua innata capacità di combinare gusti e sapori, rendono le sue ricette sempre uniche, sorprendenti e deliziose.

Carmelo ha una vastissima esperienza culinaria. Ha lavorato come executive chef per diversi ristoranti prima di seguire il suo spirito libero e diventare un "cuoco itinerante" (come era solito definirsi) e finire per aprire il suo ristorante Caro Melo a Donnalucata, in Sicilia, che lui definisce "osteria rituale". Un approccio davvero poetico alla cucina mediterranea. Da non perdere!

Gennaro is a multi-starred chef of international renown: after founding his prestigious restaurant La Torre del Saracino in 1991 in Vico Equense, his hometown, he was awarded his first Michelin star in 2001 and his second in 2008.
But in addition to his undisputed talent and fame, the qualities that make Gennaro a special chef and for which he has all my respect and admiration are: his love for his land, which is reflected in the choice of products he works with and in the preparation of his dishes; his humility, which I have been able to appreciate during our collaboration; and his attachment to his family, which is always in his thoughts, even in the most stressful moments.

I am flattered and honoured to have had the opportunity to work with him and to continue to count him among my favourite collaborators. I can only highly recommend his excellent restaurant La Torre del Saracino, located in a picturesque setting by the sea in Vico Equense.
